Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data Classy Civil Academy collects when you use our enquiry form on classycivil.com, why we collect it, where it's stored, who else is involved, and how you can ask us about it — including a short note on cookies.

What We Collect

When you submit our enquiry form, we collect exactly four things:

  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Selected course (e.g. TNPSC AE, JDO, TRB, TNMAWS)
  • A batch-interest tag that's set automatically if you clicked "I'm Interested" or a similar button on one of our batch cards (e.g. "Ongoing Batch — JDO 2026"), so we know which batch you're asking about

We do not currently ask for your name, and we do not collect any other personal information anywhere else on this site.

Why We Collect It

We use this information only to respond to your course enquiry — to get in touch with you about the batch you're interested in, answer your questions, and share relevant updates about that batch.

Where It's Stored

Submitted enquiries are stored in a Google Sheet that only the Classy Civil Academy team can access. The form sends your details there through a Google Apps Script Web App — Google acts as our data processor for this purpose.

Third Parties Involved

We work with a small, specific set of outside services:

  • Google Apps Script / Google Sheets — stores your enquiry details, as described above.
  • Google Fonts — this page loads its typefaces from Google's font service, which receives your device's IP address as a normal part of that request (no other data from this site is sent to Google Fonts).
  • Links on our site may take you to WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps, or our learning portal at learn.classycivil.com. These are separate services with their own privacy policies — we don't share your enquiry data with them, and once you click through, their own privacy practices apply.

How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry details in our Google Sheet for our business records, for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up about the batch you asked about. We don't currently run automatic deletion on a fixed schedule — if you'd like your information removed sooner, just email us (see "Your Rights" below) and we'll delete it.

Your Rights

You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete it entirely. To do any of this, email us at classycivilacademy@gmail.com and we'll get back to you.

Cookies

This site does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. The only outside request made when you load a page is to Google Fonts (see "Third Parties Involved" above), which can see your IP address as part of loading our typefaces, but does not set a cookie or track you across other sites through this site.
